This museum in the old town of Vallauris shows Gil Camatte’s collection who for 40 years passionately assembled thousands of various items sold to visitors to Vallauris Golfe-Juan from the 60’s to the 80’s.
They are happy memories of a time when cicadas, “bambis”, poodles, domestic or exotic animals constituted a colourful universe that was to be the source of inspiration for generations of anonymous ceramicists who dared everything.
